She received her Master of Science in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture degree with an eight-year study from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. Before she moved to U.S, she worked as a medical doctor and acupuncturist in HuaXi Hospital, the biggest and most comprehensive hospital in Sichuan Province for 5 years, and also ran her family acupuncture clinic along with her parents. Her father is a well-known Acupuncture professor and researcher in Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine. His research, using highly sought-after national medical funding, involves the application of Acupuncture in the treatment of chronic pain and severe diseases.
